A polarizing filter has a characteristic of transmitting a component of light wave in only one direction out of random directions.
This eliminates unnecessary light reflected on the surfaces of the observed objects, thus inspection efficiency is improved and the operator is less fatigued.
Since this filter has light reduction effect as well,
it can reduce the light intensity of the lighting.
